Privacy Policy

Who this app is for

Access is limited to wedding guests who have been invited by the couple. The app is not intended for the general public and is not directed to children under 13.

What we collect

• Phone number — used to sign you in via one-time passcode (OTP) and to send you event invitations and updates.
• Name — so other guests can recognize you.
• Optional profile info you choose to enter, such as email, lodging, arrival/departure dates, dietary notes, and photo. All optional.
• Messages and checklist responses you send within the app.
• Basic technical data (device type, browser, timestamps) needed to keep the service working and secure.

How we use your information

• To authenticate you and keep your account secure.
• To send SMS invitations, reminders, and event updates related to the wedding.
• To show relevant event info (schedule, locations, checklist) to you and other guests.
• To operate and improve the app.

We do not sell your information. We do not use your information for advertising. We do not share it with third parties except the service providers listed below.

SMS messaging

By providing your phone number, you agree to receive SMS messages related to the wedding (invitations, sign-in codes, event reminders, and updates). Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.

You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for help. SMS opt-in and phone numbers are not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS delivery is handled by Twilio. Twilio processes phone numbers and message content solely to deliver messages on our behalf.

Service providers

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the app:

• Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
• Vercel — web application hosting.
• Twilio — SMS delivery.

These providers process data only to provide their services to us and are bound by their own privacy and security policies.

Retention

We keep your information for the duration of the wedding and a reasonable period afterward for memory-keeping and follow-up. You can request deletion at any time by emailing the address above.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your personal information at any time. To make a request, email wilson.j.tsang@gmail.com.

Security

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, role-based access, row-level security on our database) to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure — if you become aware of a vulnerability, please email us.

Changes

If we update this policy, we'll post the new version on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we'll also notify invited guests.
